In some of the articles that I have posted on this forum I have made reference to my Army Album.

I created this Album in 1946, while I was still in the Trieste area, and it has survived some 64 years !

I have now donated the Album to the Imerial War Museum in London, where it will be made available for the use of WW2 researchers.

No Sir, the tank behind me was General Montgomety's M4 Sherman Tank

Shortly after I posted my article on the ww2talk.com forum one of the members wrote me the following.

"That's not Monty's tank, Ron.
It's a Guards Armoured Div Sherman, of 2nd (Armd) Bn Grenadier Guards.

It just shows you that old soldiers can have bad memories Laughing
